Navigate Dashboards on iOS

After you sign in, the Incorta iOS app will open to Content.

Content is where you can view a list of your dashboards and folders. Only the folders or dashboards that have been created by or shared with you will appear in this list.

You can find the dashboard you want from the list of dashboards shown or enter the dashboard’s name (or its contents) in Search.

From the dashboard view you can:

  • View individual insights
  • Search dashboard data
  • Create a Dashboard Runtime Filter
  • Save filters as Bookmarks
  • View more Dashboard Options

You can view insights on iOS by selecting a dashboard from the Content screen, from your Favorites list, or by searching for its name or contents.

After selecting your dashboard, tap on any insight represented as a KPI, data label, chart, table, or gauge. From there you can view more details, navigate between insights,or filter your results.

To navigate between insights without returning to the Dashboard view:

  • Tap the Down arrow to advance to the next insight in the dashboard.
  • Tap the Up arrow to return to the previous insight in the dashboard.

To return to the main dashboard view, tap the Back arrow.

View Chart Details on iOS

  • Use the “pinch” gesture to zoom in and out.
  • Move the chart in zoom mode with a two-finger pan gesture.
  • Tap Reset Zoom to return to the normal chart view.

Copy Chart Data on iOS

When viewing a chart on iOS, you can copy the data to use as a filter or save the data to share with other users.

To copy chart data on the iOS app:

  1. Select a portion of the chart.
  2. Tap the tooltip on a point in a chart to open More Options.
  3. From the More screen, you can see full data for this specific point on the chart. Additionally, you can:

    • Copy Details
    • Use as a Filter When you tap Copy Details the data copies to your clipboard for you to take note of for later.

When you tap Use as a Filter, the filter will automatically apply to the Dashboard.

Alternatively, you can also tap the Filter (funnel) icon in the bottom left corner of the screen to apply a specific point of data on the chart as a filter.

View iOS Dashboard Options

  1. Tap the Dashboard tab from the Content screen to view your list of dashboards.
  2. From Content, find the dashboard you want by scrolling through the list of dashboards shown or entering the dashboard’s name (or contents) in Search.
  3. Tap More options (kebab icon) to view a list of other actions you can take with the dashboard.

From the More Options screen, you can:

  • Set a default dashboard
  • Favorite a dashboard
  • View Dashboard Details
  • View the dashboard in Augmented Reality

Set Dashboard as Default on iOS

When you set a dashboard as default, the dashboard automatically opens upon sign in, rather than opening to Content.

To set a dashboard as default on iOS:

  1. Select a dashboard from Content.
  2. Tap More Options (kebab icon).
  3. Select Set as default dashboard. The pin icon will turn blue to indicate the dashboard will now open by default.

To remove the default dashboard setting:

  1. Select a dashboard from Content.
  2. Tap More Options (kebab icon).
  3. Select Remove default dashboard. The pin icon will turn white to indicate the dashboard will no longer open by default when you sign in.

Add a Dashboard to Favorites on iOS

To view your Favorites from an iOS device, tap **Favorites **(star icon) in the dashboard’s navigation bar.

To add a new dashboard to your Favorites:

  1. Select a dashboard.
  2. Tap **More Options **(kebab icon).
  3. Select Add to Favorites.

The star icon will turn yellow to indicate the dashboard has been set as a Favorite.

To remove dashboard from Favorites:

  1. Select a dashboard.
  2. Tap More Options (kebab icon).
  3. Select Remove from Favorites.

The star icon will turn white to indicate the dashboard has been removed from your favorites list.

View Dashboard Details

If you want to get more information about a specific dashboard, you can view this from the Dashboard Details screen.

From Dashboard Details you can view the following information:

  • Dashboard Name
  • Description
  • Directory Path
  • Owner
  • Creation date
  • Last modified date
  • User who last modified the dashboard.

To get to Dashboard Details:

  1. Select a dashboard from Content.
  2. Tap More Options (kebab icon).
  3. Select View Dashboard Details.

View Dashboard in Augmented Reality

To view a dashboard in augmented reality:

  1. Select a dashboard.
  2. Tap More options (kebab icon).
  3. Select View in Augmented Reality.

Note: Augmented Reality is an experimental feature limited to devices with the A9 chip or later, and supports basic chart types only.
