Reset the Superuser Password

Reset the superuser password using the TMT tool or the Admin UI.

From the TMT Tool:

1. If you use Apache Derby, stop Incorta.
2. Using a command line, navigate to ~/IncortaAnalytics/tmt.
3. Run the command ./tmt.sh -u system superuser-password <new admin password>.
4. Restart Incorta.
5. If you use Derby, restart Incorta.

From Admin UI:

1. Navigate to Users.
2. Select the superuser account name.
3. Select Change Password.
4. Complete the fields to enter the old password, new password, and confirm the new password.
5. Save.

If a system administrator changes the superuser (or any user’s) password, Incorta sends an email to the user account with a temporary password. The user must log in using the temporary pasword and then create a new password.
