Create an EBS Volume

Open the Amazon EC2 console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/ec2/.
From the navigation bar, select region. Any region works on Incorta. For more information on regions, see https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/UserGuide/Concepts.RegionsAndAvailabilityZones.html.
In the navigation pane, choose ELASTIC BLOCK STORE, Volumes.
Select Create Volume with the following parameters:
- Volume Type: GP2
- Size (GiB): Depends on customer size. Minimum for Incorta is 100GB.
- IOP: 64,000 IOPS
- Availability Zone: Any
Select the Encrypted box. Choose Master Key: (default) aws/ebs.
(Optional) Select Create additional tagsto add tags to the volume. For each tag, provide a tag key and a tag value. Incorta recommends a name similar to: app=Incorta.
Select Create Volume.
