Use Bookmarks on iOS

Bookmarks are saved dashboard runtime filters you can use to apply to your dashboards and insights in the future, without having to repeat the selection process.

You can access Bookmarks from your iOS device by selecting a dashboard from Content, then tapping the Bookmark tab (book icon) located on the dashboard navigation bar.

Create Bookmarks with Existing Filters

To create a Bookmark using currently applied filters:

  1. Select a dashboard from Content.
  2. Select the Bookmark (book icon) tab from the dashboard navigation bar.
  3. Tap Create bookmark using current filter +. This option will only be available if a filter is actively applied to the dashboard. If you do not see this option, follow the instructions for creating a new Bookmark below.
  4. Enter a unique name for the bookmark in the Bookmark Name field.
  5. Toggle Set as Default on if you want to apply this filter when it’s first opened.
  6. Tap Save to finish adding this filter to your Bookmarks list.

Create New Bookmark

  1. Tap Filter (funnel icon) to select your filter attribute, operator, and values.
  2. From the Filters tab, select a filter attribute.
  3. Choose a filter Operator. By default the Operator is IN. To choose another, tap the down arrow located to the right of the filter attribute name.
  4. Search for and select Value(s) to refine your results. (Available Operators and Values may change in response to the selected attribute.)
  5. Tap Done to save your filter selections and return to the Filters screen,
  6. Select Bookmark Filters from the filters screen.
  7. Enter a unique name for the Bookmark.
  8. Toggle Set as default* on to set this bookmark as a default dashboard filter (optional).
  9. Tap Save to add this saved filter to your list of bookmarks.
  10. Tap Apply to apply your filter selections and return to the dashboard view.

*Setting a bookmark as default is specific to the bookmark creator and will not apply to other users with access to the dashboard.

Apply a Bookmark on iOS

  1. Select a dashboard from Content.
  2. Select the Bookmark (book icon) tab from the dashboard navigation bar.
  3. Select a bookmark from the Bookmarked Filters list.

The selected Bookmark will automatically apply and you will return to the dashboard view.

Edit a Bookmark on iOS

  1. Tap the Bookmark tab from the dashboard navigation bar.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Select a Bookmark to view the saved filter attributes. From here you can:

    • Rename your bookmark.
    • Set as Default to automatically apply to the dashboard upon opening. Toggle the Set as Default switch ON to enable this.
    • Remove as Default to stop the filter from applying automatically to the dashboard upon opening. Toggle the Set as Default switch OFF to disable this setting.
  4. Tap Save save your changes
  5. Tap Done to return to the Bookmarks screen.
  6. Tap the X to exit the Bookmark screen and return to the dashboard view.

Delete a Bookmark on iOS

  1. Tap the Bookmark tab from the dashboard navigation bar located at the top of the screen.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Tap Delete (minus icon) to remove this saved filter from your list.
  4. Tap Done to return to the Bookmark list.
  5. Tap the X to close Bookmarks and return to the dashboard.
